Devon Scott is the founder of UHRD Sportsplex, a high-performance training facility built to shape elite athletes and future leaders. A former professional basketball player for the Bay Area Shuckers (ABA) and Germany’s Bremerhaven Eisbaren, Devon’s journey began at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, playing for a nationally ranked top-five team. He went on to study business and accounting at Catonsville Community College, balancing education with his athletic goals.

After overcoming an 18-month injury setback, Devon transitioned from sports to business—rising quickly at Frito-Lay to Salesman of the Year with $1M in weekly sales, then driving growth and client success at Cintas Corporation. In 2021, he launched Skinny Distribution LLC, growing UTZ route sales by 50% in two years through strategic execution.

Now, Devon’s hustle is focused on UHRD Sportsplex—his mission-driven venture to transform youth sports development. He’s building more than a facility; he’s building a movement. UHRD blends elite athletic training with leadership development, nutrition guidance, and mental resilience—empowering young athletes to

Onur Akin

Head of Goalkeeping & Elite Performance Strategy

Born in Denizli, Turkey, and forged in the hyper-competitive world of European football, Onur Akin has built a life around turning talent into legacy. With over a decade of goalkeeper coaching experience across professional clubs like Galatasaray SK, Altinordu FC, and Kusadasi SK, Onur’s story is one of relentless pursuit—and global influence.

Onur’s coaching philosophy is grounded in performance precision and psychological readiness. His methods have helped teams win national titles and individual players earn top tournament honors, including "Best Coach of the Year" and "Best Goalkeeper" awards. His work with Miami FC Academy and Lions FC in the U.S. has added another chapter to a resume already stacked with championships and accolades.

Armed with a UEFA B License, multiple federation certifications, and a BS in Sports Science, Onur is equally passionate about video analysis, team dynamics, and nutrition—a 360° approach to player development.

Juan Carlos Uribe

Director of Athlete Development & Recruiting

Juan’s journey into coaching wasn’t a career move—it was a calling. A former U.S. Marine turned mentor, Juan brings a disciplined mindset and a heart for youth development to every training session. His mission? To shape student-athletes into confident, college-ready individuals both on and off the pitch.

Over the past decade, Juan has coached for top-tier programs like Florida Kraze Krush, Liverpool FC Central Florida, and Orlando City Lake Nona. But beyond the drills and game-day tactics, Juan’s true impact shows in the lives he helps transform. Dozens of young women and men have found their collegiate paths thanks to his tireless recruiting support and unwavering belief in their potential.

Juan is a certified USSF C and D License coach with additional goalkeeper training credentials, but what truly sets him apart is his personal mantra: “Train the player. Build the person.”

Whether he's leading a practice or walking a student through a scholarship process, Juan brings mentorship, grit, and integrity to every conversation.
